Billy Rath, bass player in the legendary “Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers” that was the link between NY Dolls and 77 punk as well one of the first vawe of punk bands, is dead after a period of illness..

R:I:P TOMMY The Last Original Ramone dead

Tommy Ramone, the last of the original lineup of the legendary American punkband Ramones, have died of Cancer at the age 62.
Born i Hungary in 1952 he was named Erderli Tamas, him and his familly emigrated to the USA where he grew up in Queens NY where he formed a highschool band with Johnny Ramone (John Cummings).

From the start he was the band´s producer and when he quit as a drummer in 1978 he still produced some of their records. As a producer he was most comfortable.

R.I.P.
Richard "Rik" Mayall born 1958.
Found dead in his home June 9 2014.

To punks he will be most missed, especially for his anachist character in the brittish 1980ies TV series "The Young Ones".

R.I.P. Lloyd Brevett of Skatalites

Lloyd Brevett, Bassplayer and founder of Skatatalited have died at age of 80. He was treated at Andrews hospital after a Stroke and series of Seizures.

Skatalites was pioneers in the sixties in Ska music and making it popular.

The Bass player in one of Swedens original punk bands Grisen skriker  have passed away.
mourned and missed by the Swedish older punks.
Grisen skriker started in 1978 and was disbanded in 1979.
They didn´t last to long but was very influencial on the Swedish punk wave.
They did reform both in the 1990ies and 2000ies.
